These evaluations are called “mental health”, “psychological’, or “psychodiagnostic” assessments.  They assess a person’s symptoms and ability to cope.  The assessment may also include evaluation of personality. The purpose is to provide diagnoses and suggestions for treatment. Assessments are offered to children (6+), adolescents, and adults. The process involves interviews and the completion of scientifically based rating scales.

Please note that Autism/Pervasive Developmental Disorder Assessments are not offered at the clinic. However, we can provide you with a list of excellent diagnosticians and treatment providers in the central NB region.
